Sheriff Brian Cruze is the 28th sheriff of Meeker County. The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office is comprised of sworn civilian and volunteer staff who provide law enforcement services to the people of Meeker County. The dedicated staff work in administration, records, patrol, investigations, communications, detention, boat and water safety, court security, reserves, and posse.
Meeker County is comprised of 17 townships and 10 cities, and, as of 2020, has a total estimated population of 23,374. The county seat is in Litchfield.
The mission of the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office is “To provide high quality professional services with honor, integrity, and courage. These services shall preserve the peace and safeguard the lives and property of all Meeker County residents through a proactive partnership with the community and our public safety partners.”
